Tier I — Entry Level

IBC-HHA™

ICONIC Board Certified Holistic Health Associate

The IBC-HHA™ is the foundational credential issued by the ICONIC Board of Holistic Health. It recognizes practitioners who have met the Board's minimum professional standards for ethics, client conduct, and holistic health practice — and who are formally establishing themselves in the profession.

Certification is permanent. Active standing is annual.
When the Board certifies you, it is attesting to what it verified at that moment. That record does not expire and is never withdrawn for non-payment. What renews each year is your active standing: your public directory listing, live verification as active, your current-year seal, and member services. Verification always shows both facts, so a lapse is visible to anyone who checks. Certification can be revoked only for cause, following ethics proceedings.

What the IBC-HHA™ Requires

The Associate credential is designed to be accessible to new practitioners while maintaining the Board's commitment to professional standards. Applications are reviewed by the ICONIC Board credentialing team.

  • Minimum 60 Hours of Holistic Health Training

Completed coursework from a recognized school, program, or training organization in one or more holistic health modalities. No single modality required — breadth of preparation is recognized. View recognized pathways →

  • Active or Newly Established Practice Declaration

A signed declaration that you are actively engaged in or are establishing a holistic health practice. New practitioners are eligible — you do not need years of experience to qualify for Tier I.

  • Signed ICONIC Board Code of Ethics

Agreement to the ICONIC Board's professional code of ethics governing client relationships, scope of practice, and professional conduct. The full code is available at iconicboard.health/ethics.

  • Professional Reference (1 Required)

One professional reference from a colleague, mentor, educator, or supervisor in the holistic health field. References are contacted directly by the credentialing team during review.

  • Personal Practice Statement

A brief statement describing your holistic health practice, the modalities you work with, and why you are pursuing board credentialing. Typically 150–300 words. Reviewed for professional clarity and scope awareness.

  • Application Fee: $1,495 (Founding Member)

Non-refundable application processing fee, payable upon submission. Covers credentialing team review, reference contact, and credential issuance for approved applicants. Founding Member pricing — first 50 applicants per tier — locks your $195/year renewal rate for life. After the founding cohort closes: $2,495 Early Professional / $3,495 Established Professional.

Who the IBC-HHA™ Is For

The Associate credential is designed for practitioners at the start of their professional journey — or for experienced practitioners who are formalizing their standing with an independent credentialing body for the first time.

New holistic health practitioners who have completed a training program and are establishing their professional practice

Practitioners with modality certifications (nutrition, coaching, energy work, etc.) who want a cross-modality professional credential

Practitioners completing recognized education pathways in energy, systems, or somatic disciplines who are formalizing their professional standing

Holistic health practitioners transitioning from informal practice to a structured professional service offering

Practitioners building toward the IBC-HHP™ who want to establish board credentialing credentials at the entry level

Wellness professionals (yoga therapists, herbalists, TCM practitioners) seeking a unified professional board credential

ICONIC Board credentials are professional and educational credentials. They do not constitute a government license, confer legal scope of practice, or qualify holders to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. ICONIC Board is editorially and operationally independent of all training providers. It shares ownership with ICONIC Academy, an education publisher; Academy programs carry no weight toward any ICONIC credential, are not a prerequisite for any credential, and are not considered in Board review. The Board recognizes no school’s programs, including the Academy’s. The Board maintains its own examination, ethics, and conduct standards.
